According to Mysteel, as of the week ending March 19, rebar production has increased for three consecutive weeks, factory and social inventories have shifted from increasing to decreasing, and apparent demand has increased for four consecutive weeks.
Rebar production was 2.0333 million tons, an increase of 80,300 tons from the previous week, with a growth rate of 4.11%;
Rebar factory inventory was 2.362 million tons, a decrease of 34,200 tons from the previous week, with a decline of 1.43%;
Rebar social inventory was 6.5321 million tons, a decrease of 13,400 tons from the previous week, with a decline of 0.20%;
Rebar apparent demand was 2.0809 million tons, an increase of 312,800 tons from the previous week, with a growth rate of 17.69%.
