Another embodied intelligence startup is once again emerging in an “Ideal Series” company. Reporters learned from multiple independent sources that Chen Wei, the former AI Chief Scientist of Li Auto and the head of the foundation model team, together with Zhang Xiao, the former head of Li Auto’s second product line, have co-founded a new embodied intelligence company—Xieyue Intelligence. Chen Wei serves as Chairman and CTO, while Zhang Xiao serves as CEO.

The company was founded in February 2026. Its first round of financing was jointly invested by Yuanjing Capital and Li Auto, and it is expected to complete the industrial and commercial registration change in the near term. An investor said that Xieyue will focus on home scenarios in the future and develop consumer-grade embodied intelligence products for C-end users.

It is reported that since its establishment two months ago, the company has already assembled a team of nearly 20 people and has set up offices in Beijing, Hangzhou, and Shenzhen, while actively recruiting core team members and related technical talent for the public.
