🔥Iranian Parliament Speaker to Meet Pakistan’s Prime Minister to Set the Timing and Format of US-Iran Talks
According to Iran’s Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, on April 11, Iranian Islamic Parliament Speaker **Kalibaf** will hold talks with Pakistan’s Prime Minister **Shehbaz** to determine the timing and format of **Iran’s negotiations with the United States**. Tasnim News Agency reported that the Iranian side will raise issues during the talks regarding the United States’ breach of commitments. The prerequisites for launching the negotiations include unfreezing Iranian assets and a ceasefire in Lebanon. The United States has informed Pakistan that it agrees to these prerequisites and some other conditions for initiating the talks. The Iranian delegation plans to assess the United States’ position and whether it has fulfilled its commitments during the talks, before deciding whether to hold negotiations with the U.S. side. In another report, Tasnim News Agency said that if the U.S. and Iran can hold talks, the current plan is for negotiations to begin later on the evening of the 11th, which may last only one day.
