ME News report: On April 5, (UTC+8), the Working Office for International Fugitive Pursuit and Cross-Border Corruption Governance of the Central Anti-Corruption Coordination Group held a meeting to launch the “Tianwang 2026” campaign. In particular, the National Supervisory Commission will take the lead in conducting a special campaign for overseas pursuit and recovery and loss prevention related to duty-related crime cases; the Ministry of Public Security will carry out a special “Fox Hunt” campaign; the People’s Bank of China, together with the Ministry of Public Security, will conduct a special campaign to prevent and crack down on the transfer of stolen funds abroad by using offshore companies and underground banks; and the Organization Department of the Central Committee, together with the Ministry of Public Security and the National Immigration Administration, will do a good job in managing the post-placement of “naked officials” and in addressing violations by public officials related to going abroad (overseas) for private reasons.
