Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) announced that its controlling shareholder, Xiamen Ruiting Investment Co., Ltd., plans to donate 5 million A-shares with unlimited tradability held by it to the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Education Development Foundation free of charge. This represents 0.11% of the company’s total share capital. All proceeds and funds generated from this donation will be used to support the educational development of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
