The essence of trading is to maintain a clear direction and rhythm in an uncertain market, without being disturbed by short-term fluctuations.

At noon, we clearly provided a high-level shorting strategy in the 4760-4770 range, with the target directly aimed at 4730-4720. The market fully confirmed our prediction precisely: intraday high reached 4769, perfectly matching the shorting zone, then retraced all the way down to a low of 4730, accurately hitting the target zone. The noon strategy was 100% validated, and the direction was completely correct.

European session gold continued the Asian session's oscillation and decline trend. The current quote is 4747.12. The 1-hour Bollinger Bands are tightening, with the price under pressure below the middle band at 4764.46. The WR indicator remains at -64.61 in a weak zone, indicating that bearish momentum is still being released. The overall structure has not broken away from the bearish dominance below 4800. Tonight at 20:30, the US March CPI data will be a market turning point. Before the data release, gold is likely to remain in a narrow range of 4730-4770 with a continued firm high-level shorting bias, avoiding counter-trend betting.

In terms of operations, during the European rebound, if the price rises to the 4760-4770 range, it can continue to short with the stop above 4785. The target is down to 4730-4720. Pay close attention to the lower Bollinger Band support at 4734.15. If the price falls below this level before the data release, it can be shorted accordingly, aiming for 4700. After the data release, if CPI is below expectations, and gold rebounds above 4780, adjust the strategy accordingly. If CPI exceeds expectations, it will directly open the downside space, and holding onto short positions firmly is recommended.
