$ETH has been falling for six consecutive months, witnessing miracles, witnessing a bear market, witnessing the crypto world. There hasn't been a single month of gains. Many investors probably lost everything; it's too brutal. As new altcoins go live, they continue to decline steadily. It's still mainstream, but just a bunch of potatoes.
