Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 04, according to CoinDesk, CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) Chairman Mike Selig discussed the regulatory progress of cryptocurrency perpetual futures and prediction markets in his speech. He stated that the CFTC is working to introduce "real perpetual futures" in the United States and expects to announce related policies in the next month or so to attract liquidity back to the US and provide investor protection.
Additionally, he mentioned that the CFTC will soon provide guidance for prediction markets, including issuing a pre-notice of proposed rulemaking to set clear standards.
