President Donald J. Trump urgently confirmed the death of Khamenei.

Khamenei, one of the worst people in history, has died.
This is not only justice for the Iranian people but also for all great Americans and many peoples around the world who have suffered or been killed by the bloodthirsty gangs of Khamenei and his accomplices. He could not hide from our intelligence and most advanced surveillance systems, and with close cooperation with Israel — there was nothing he or other leaders killed alongside him could do. This is the greatest opportunity for the Iranian people to reclaim their country. We hear that many members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the army, security forces, and police no longer want to fight and are seeking immunity from us. As I said last night: “They can now get immunity, but later they will only face death!” We hope that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and police will gradually merge with Iranian patriots and work together as a unified whole to restore the country’s deserved greatness. This process should begin soon because not only is Khamenei dead, but the country itself is severely damaged and could be destroyed in a day. Heavy and precise bombings without pause will continue all week or as long as necessary to achieve our goal — peace in the Middle East and around the world.
