Due to worsening weather conditions, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has urgently changed the meeting of the Advisory Committee on Small Business Capital Formation to an online format.

The committee was originally scheduled to meet in person at the SEC headquarters at 10:00 AM on February 24, but due to deteriorating weather conditions, it was decided to switch to a webcast participation method. The SEC announced this schedule change to participants via its official X (formerly Twitter) account.

With the online format, participants can access the meeting from their location through a webcast link. This flexible approach has helped avoid disruptions to the committee's activities caused by bad weather. It indicates that a weather-independent operational system for the advisory committee is gradually being established.
