Regarding the business scope, the Shanghai Branch of the Agricultural Development Bank stated that their digital RMB services follow the People’s Bank of China’s “dual-layer architecture” operational model, providing customers with digital RMB circulation services. The business operations strictly adhere to the People’s Bank of China’s regulations on RMB bank settlement accounts, anti-money laundering, and anti-terrorist financing to ensure fund safety and compliant operations.
