Claude Code quota doubled, peak speed limit removed, SpaceX's 220k GPU support

According to Beating Monitoring, Anthropic is significantly easing Claude usage restrictions starting today. The 5-hour rate limit for Claude Code has doubled, covering Pro, Max, Team, and enterprise editions; Pro and Max users will no longer be throttled during peak hours; the API quota for Opus models has also been greatly increased.

The ability to add such a large volume at once is because Anthropic has just signed a deal for all the computing power of SpaceX Colossus 1 data center, with over 220k NVIDIA GPUs and a capacity of over 300 MW, coming online within the month, directly supporting Claude Pro and Max. The two sides also revealed a longer-term intention: to jointly develop multi-GW level on-orbit AI computing power.
