Today, Shanghai Metal Market spot price is 24,350-24,450 yuan/ton, with an average of 24,400 yuan/ton, up 20 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. The Shanghai Zinc 2603 contract is trading at a discount of 160 to 60 yuan/ton. This morning, zinc prices remained within a range, and by the close of the morning session, the main Shanghai Zinc contract rose by 225 yuan/ton, a 0.92% increase. As the Spring Festival approaches, market sentiment is subdued, and the industry is entering a holiday cycle. Spot circulation has decreased, but prices are high and the market is thin.
