Ordos region thermal coal market experiences both rises and falls

On February 24, the Ordos region’s thermal coal market experienced both rises and falls. Mines that had halted production are gradually resuming operations, and overall coal supply levels are steadily recovering. After the holiday, market demand has not shown significant improvement, and cautious sentiment remains dominant at low levels. Currently, downstream companies are sporadically transporting and replenishing inventories. Coal producers and traders are cautious in procurement. Some mines that have resumed production are not performing well in sales, leading to slight coal price reductions. Coal with high cost-performance ratios is selling relatively well, and coal prices have slightly increased. Currently, coal prices fluctuate with price adjustments of about 10-20 yuan/ton, and market activity remains cautious in the short term. (My Steel Network)
