Whether you’re a bullish trader or a master of short positions, any profitable trade during the event gives you a chance to compete for a substantial prize pool. Rely on your expertise, outperform other participants, and earn the title of King of Long and Short.
The event centers on Long-Short Points. As you trade and accumulate points, you’ll rise on the leaderboard and compete for a wide range of rewards. Showcase your trading ability and go for the prize pool!
How to Participate in the Long & Short Individual Championship
To participate, simply connect your wallet and click the “Join Now” button on the event page. The event runs from November 27, 2025, 11:00 UTC through December 25, 2025, 11:00 UTC.
Long-Short Points: During the event, users earn points by closing profitable trades on Gate Perp DEX. Your ranking will be based on your total Long-Short Points.
How points are calculated for each trade: A profit from a long position adds +1 point; a profit from a short position subtracts 1 point.
Your total points are the sum of all profitable trades. A positive score means net long profits; a negative score means net short profits.
Points System and Rewards
Long & Short Individual Championship Overall Leaderboard: Rankings are based on total points earned during the event. Prizes are as follows:
- 1st place: 8,000 USDT
- 2nd place: 4,000 USDT
- 3rd place: 3,000 USDT
- 4th–10th place: 1,000 USDT each
- 11th–30th place: 500 USDT each
Directional Leaderboards:
- Bull Leaderboard: Ranked by positive points. Prizes: 1st place: 1,000 USDT; 2nd–5th place: 300 USDT each
- Bear Leaderboard: Ranked by negative points. Prizes: 1st place: 1,000 USDT; 2nd–5th place: 300 USDT each
Lucky Participation Award: Users who complete at least three profitable trades will be automatically entered into a random drawing. 200 lucky winners will each receive 30 USDT.
Invite Friends and Earn Extra Rewards
- Invitation Rewards: Participants can invite friends to join using a unique invitation link. An invitation is considered valid when your friend registers and completes at least one profitable trade. For each valid invite, you’ll earn 5 USDT. Invite five valid friends and you’ll receive an extra 25 USDT.
- Invitation Leaderboard: The top 10 users by number of valid invitations will each receive an additional 60 USDT.
Event Rules and Notices
- Event Registration: You must click the “Join Now” button on the event page to register. After registering, complete identity verification to claim your rewards.
- Multiple Account Restrictions:
To ensure fairness, each IP address may only be linked to a limited number of wallets during the event. If abnormal multi-account activity is detected, eligibility will be revoked.
All rewards will be distributed within 14 business days after the event ends.
The platform will revoke the eligibility and rewards of users who engage in manipulative trading, wash trading, or pre-arranged orders, or other prohibited activities.
