What are the requirements to participate in the CrossEx Trading Competition? What is the participation process?

This campaign is open to API trading users. The participation process is as follows:

1. Apply for CrossEx access via the link provided on this page. Once activated, you will automatically qualify for the competition.

2. Alternatively, you can contact your account manager for assistance in activating CrossEx and registering for the competition.

What trading fee discounts can participants enjoy in the CrossEx Trading Competition?

During the CrossEx Trading Competition, participants can enjoy the exclusive lowest trading fees, applicable to the three exchanges: Gate, Binance, and OKX:

Spot：Maker 0.019% / Taker 0.03%

Futures：Maker 0.004% / Taker 0.022%。

What is the fee rule if I enable CrossEx but do not participate in the trading competition?

Users who enable CrossEx but do not register for the competition will receive a +3 CrossEx VIP tier upgrade based on their Gate VIP level.

CrossEx VIP level = Gate VIP level + 3

Example: A Gate VIP 5 user will enjoy CrossEx VIP 8 fee rates when trading via CrossEx

Notes:

Gate VIP fees and CrossEx VIP fees are calculated independently

CrossEx trading volume and assets are counted toward Gate VIP level calculations

The above fees are uniform across all three exchanges (OKX, Binance,Gate) and do not vary by venue.

Validity Period:

The +3 CrossEx VIP upgrade takes effect on the CrossEx activation date and remains valid for 90 days

After 90 days, the CrossEx VIP level will revert to match the user’s Gate VIP level

VIP Level Adjustments During the 90-Day Period:

If a user upgrades their Gate VIP level, the CrossEx VIP level will be adjusted accordingly

1. Example: Gate VIP 5 → VIP 6, CrossEx VIP 8 → VIP 9

If a user’s Gate VIP level is downgraded, the CrossEx VIP level will also be adjusted downward

What is the account asset limit for the CrossEx Trading Competition?

The current asset limit is 5,000 USDT.

How is trading volume calculated for the CrossEx Trading Competition?

Trading volume is calculated according to the following rules:

Only main accounts are eligible to register for the competition

CrossEx trading volume generated by sub-accounts will be aggregated under the main account

Each verified user is allowed to participate using one Gate account only

Scope of Volume Calculation:

Time period: From the successful registration date until the end of the competition

Account scope: Main account (including aggregated sub-account volume)

How is the leaderboard score calculated?

The competition uses a combined scoring system based on Trading Volume (80%) and Stability (20%). The scoring metrics are:

Trading Volume (T): Average daily CrossEx trading volume starting from the team's registration date.

Adjusted Volume for Volatility (S):S = T / R, where R is the standard deviation (stdev) of T.

Scoring Calculation:Each metric is normalized by ranking.

Final Score Formula:K = 0.8 × Trading Volume Score (ST) + 0.2 × Stability Score (SS)

Final rankings are determined by K, from highest to lowest.

If final scores are tied, how is the rank determined?

If two teams have the same final score (K), the team with the higher final average daily CrossEx trading volume will rank higher.

Why is it recommended to complete CrossEx testing before registering?

Leaderboard scoring starts from the registration date. Completing a CrossEx trading test before official registration helps ensure strategy stability and prevents early-stage testing fluctuations from negatively affecting the stability score and final ranking.

When will the "Interest-Free Loan" be issued?

After the event ends and official data verification is complete, your Gate account manager will contact winners within 7 working days to issue the interest-free loan.

Who are eligible for invitation task? Are there any requirements for friends to participate?

This is open to all Gate users. Regardless of whether you trade on CrossEx, simply share the event page with friends. Invited friends who meet the event requirements within the specified period will earn the corresponding referral rewards.

Event Rules

1. The event period lasts 30 days, and registration is open anytime during the period.

2. This event only allows registration by the main account. CrossEx trading volume generated by sub-accounts will be counted toward the main account’s total. Each verified user may participate with only one Gate account.

3. All trades must be executed automatically via API. Gate will monitor trading activity to ensure compliance with the rules.

4. Trading volume statistics and scoring calculations are based on UTC+0.

5. Event rewards, except for interest-free loans, will be credited to users' Gate accounts within 7 working days after the event ends and data is verified.

6. Gate will conduct a final data review after the event. Official rankings and rewards are based on verified data.

7. Gate reserves the final interpretation and adjustment rights for this event.
